Something extraordinary is taking shape on West North Avenue.
Join Creative Nomads and WNADA for Cosmic Roots: Illuminating Our Legends, a community-powered public art project celebrating the Black Baltimore icons, visionaries, artists, advocates, and changemakers whose legacies continue to shape our city.
On Monday we're opening the doors to the studio and inviting the community to become part of the process.

What if summer wasn’t just a season Comrades, but a shift? A shift toward connection. Toward creativity. Toward showing up for each other in ways that feel intentional and real. Through art, we’re creating opportunities for families to bond, for artists to lead, and for communities to come together in spaces that feel welcoming and alive.
This is the work. And summer is when it shines.
Be part of it.

When it gets warm, we move differently Comrades.
There’s a rhythm to the sun:: one that invites us outside, into community, into shared experiences that feel alive.
Art meets us there. In the parks. On the walls. In the circle. On an art oasis in the middle of the crowds.
It becomes the way we connect, express, and build something together ... across generations, across neighborhoods, across stories.
This is what the warmer seasons can feel like when connection is made sacred and centered.
We’re creating space for all of it.

Creativity doesn’t fade, it evolves Comrades.
