The fluid bed coffee roaster was patented in 1974 in Corvallis, Oregon by Michael Sivetz. We proudly use a Sivetz Roaster manufactured in 2001. This method of roasting allows us to roast consistent batches at a more efficient rate of time than a drum roaster.
