Transit Choices seeks to support the development of a transportation system which attracts and serves residents, businesses and visitors to grow Baltimore.

The group seeks to build coalitions to plan, fund and execute transportation investments. Transit Choices is a coalition of business organizations, universities, cultural institutions, developers, environmental groups, community groups, transportation planners, young entrepreneurs, and concerned individuals joined together by the vision of creating a real mass transit system in Baltimore. Our goal is to transform Baltimore into a more livable, walkable 21st century City.

Transit Choices is pleased to share the press release announcing the completion of a Baltimore-region targeted social media campaign to garner attention and feedback on transportation revenues, major transit capital projects, and transit priorities in the region. Over the course of the approximately three-week campaign, Transit Choices generated over 119,000 views of its advertisements, reached over 24,000 individual accounts, and received over 1,200 survey responses.

We are sincerely grateful to APTA for their generous funding and support which was essential to our campaign's success.

Transit Choices remains committed to continuing its advocacy efforts for improved public transportation in Baltimore and throughout the region.

What would make you use transit more in Baltimore? Reliability means your bus or train arrives when it is supposed to and takes you where you need to go without delay, whether that’s to the doctor, to school or to work. We should invest more in infrastructure and maintenance that ensures buses, trains, and subways arrive on time. Like or comment if you agree!

Congratulations to Baltimore's Transit Choices on winning an APTA Local Coalition Grant! Funds will support Transit Choices' campaign "A Vision for a Great Regional Transit System." The coalition will increase public outreach for the campaign, and use the grant for message testing in order to improve advocacy for increased public transit funding.
