Our Story
With roots in poetry and dramatic performance, KD broke onto the hip-hop scene in 2010, working with producer 2 Mello to create his unique musical vision, combining meaningful lyrics with exciting new sounds.
Since the release of his first EP. KD has continued his writing journey. Having works of Poetry published in in a variety of Literary projects.
KD is also a self-published author of “The Time and Place”, a book of Poetry.
KD’s latest work, “KY Sh*t” is a series of recorded journal entries adjusted for song. This ode to his home state is an energetic and exciting evolution of KD’s lyrical ability. (Although it has been released it is an unfinished project).
