The team getting ready to go out for Q1, very interesting weekend with the bike, weather, and RV so far. Electrical gremlins continue to haunt us from the crash at Road America but I'll do my best and the team is doing their best to give me a solid bike to ride.

What a long an eventful day, not to mention painful! My only time online to update everyone then it's food and bed. I'm exhausted...
So I went from it broken in 5 pieces, to one small bracket in surgery one. To one of the bone pieces breaking long ways either during the initial break or somehow after and then that causing two screws coming out and of course the collarbone breaking apart. To then a second surgery with a much longer plate plus another plate and a ton of screws and staples. Today staples were removed during my follow up with the Doctor and things are looking good. But my ankle and heel are not healing right so now MRI for that and physical therapy for my shoulder.
PS crashing sucks...

Can't thank this entire team enough! Everyone has such an important part to play on the team and everyone seriously did everything in their power last weekend at Laguna to keep me in the race, but we are fighting a ton of gremlins still from being taken out at Road America. Dakari was thinking outside the box and was able to identify the problem just in time to get me back in the race and luckily for us Jason Waters had the spare that we needed and saved the day. Thank you both!!!
This weekend I came in feeling strong and better than I did at The Ridge, but after Q1 my arm was really hurting. Due to issues with the bike I wasn't able to get more than 3 laps in for Q2 and didn't get to do the Warm-up. But when it came time to race I figured I'd give it a shot. After lap 7 I was really starting to feel it but I was able to finish the race in 27th of 45 who showed up to qualify to race; believe me I was proud to just finish. If I would have thought my collarbone was fully broken as you can see in the next picture I would have never tried to race, but that's racing I guess. Surgery scheduled for Thursday.
Still had a great time at a beautiful track even with all the pain! 🤪🌄🌅🌞
