Curio has always been more than a storefront.
It’s been a space for curiosity, beauty, and quiet magic.

But lately, I’ve felt something stirring—a shift in rhythm, a call back to what lit this fire in the first place: creating freely, without the weight of retail structure.

I’m less interested in running a traditional business—and more drawn to building a creative, collaborative community. One rooted in art, plants, presence, and slow beauty.

So things are evolving.

We’re now open on weekends only, as I begin stepping away from the day-to-day of storefront retail. Not because anything is ending, but because something deeper is beginning.

I’m setting Curio free—
from rigid hours, from inventory lists, from the grind of always needing to “sell.”

And in that freedom, I’m returning to what Curio was always meant to be:
🌿 A space for limited, intentional drops
🌿 Pop-up markets and collaborative events
🌿 Botanical workshops and creative gatherings
🌿 A place for slowness, wonder, and connection

If you’re a maker, grower, or artist who feels aligned—I’m open to collaborations and creative experiments.

This is a soft shift, not a hard stop.
I’m following where the joy leads.
And I’m so grateful you’re here for the journey.

We’re shifting into a more intentional rhythm at Curio. Starting now, the shop will be open weekends with Alyssa, and weekday visits will be by appointment only. This change lets us offer a more personal and curated experience — and gives our small team space to breathe and care for the plants (and ourselves) with love. Hey folks! I’m being harassed from a post (my personal acct) supporting a plus sized woman and calling out rude men’s behavior. As you see comments etc are popping up from people trying to harm the business. I don’t care, and if you’ve shopped here I know you don’t either. I don’t tolerate bullies, and this is very silly behavior. Just shouting out these lovely folks.

It’s rainy yucky outside today, and we’re shutting down shop EARLY FOR VACATION! We will see you all next weekend, enjoy your well deserved break and please remember the fallen soldiers that have made the ultimate sacrifice for us to be here enjoying our families today ❤️
