Sometimes it’s easy to forget that our dogs are dogs and not robots.

Often times when I’m in clients homes helping them, they’re embarrassed of something their dog does. I assure them it’s fine and I’m not judging. Most often, what they’re doing is why I’m there to help anyway.

I just want to remind everyone that sometimes dogs do things that they “shouldn’t” and it happens to the best of us. Today, my puppy thought it would be fun to stand on the coffee table, why? Who knows. Instead of getting mad, I helped her down and gave her something appropriate to do.

Conditioning your dog to be comfortable in the “cone of shame” can really alleviate stress for them (and you) post surgery or accident!

I started and ended the week with new adorable puppy clients!
