Happy Holidays to everyone from ASME!
Here are photos of activities from both our general body meeting and STEM session with engineering prodigies.
Children had to create a tall structure that could hold up True Grit. In the video, you can see a few photos of our President Aakash and Vice President Matthew with the children and their final product.
For the GBM activity, ASME members had to crew a device that could reach out and pick up a pumpkin roughly 2 feet away, which almost all groups were successful in doing!
Here is what happened in our most recent general body meeting! Teams had to get a marble into a cup after releasing it, and judges scored teams on the following:
-Creativity
-Completion
-Distance
Come out on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month and take part in activities like these!
Our first general body meeting this year! See any familiar faces?
