I am so bad about posting to FB. 😭 In case anyone hasn’t noticed, I’ve been kind of taking a break from the crafting/jewelry making/skull plushes. I made the decision to get out of my own way and finally actually try to make my dream of becoming a tattoo artist a reality. If I wait until I feel like I’m good enough, I’ll be waiting forever. Even if it turns out that I’ll never have what it takes, at least I need to know that I tried my hardest and did everything I could. Time keeps going by faster and faster and I don’t want to get to the end of my life and regret never trying. I am always looking for CC. And to my tattoo artist friends, advice is very much appreciated!! 💕

I’m gonna call this done before I drive myself crazy trying to make it “perfect”, whatever that is. Another memorial piece of my dear friend Maverick, who belonged to my wonderful neighbor. He was such a good watch dog for her and, if he knew you, he was the sweetest baby ever. We had a special friendship. My neighbor used to refer to me as his girlfriend because of how happy he’d always be to see me. 😂

Unfortunately, he developed a fast growing tumor in his stomach a few months and there was nothing the vets could do, so she was forced to make the difficult choice of letting him go. It was heartbreaking. He was the goodest boyo and our neighbor has been such a kind and lovely person to us. So I thought I would paint her a portrait of Mavvie for Christmas. Obviously, I wasn’t able to finish it in time to give it to her on Christmas, but better late than never, right?

Frankly, it isn’t my best work. I wish I would have done some things differently, but as long as she likes it, I’ll be happy. RIP Maverick. We miss you, bud. ❤️
