Lots of progress (though it feels so slow) on this sweater! Each row is so engaging but also takes a longgggg time because of all the texture! At this point just hoping I can get at least 1 good wear out of it before it warms up too much.

So delighted to be working on my Book Club Pullover again. I had to stop for awhile due to hand/wrist pain from the cables being so tight! I remember in the past a tip to size down the left hand needle and it has made ALL the difference. I was seriously considering unraveling the whole project and now I feel confident k can finish it pain-free!

Huge progress in my Book Club Pullover! Initially I was a little intimidated by the charts but after the swatch I was pretty much off to the races! This has been an incredibly engaging knit- not to self: more cables!

My Christmas sweater turned into my Valentine’s Day sweater and she’s a keeper! This texture was such a pleasure to knit and as always Kelbourne Woolens scout is such a treat to work with ♥️. I’ll be wearing the heck out of this in the coming months because I’m obsessed! The sun has returned here in Baltimore hence the little photo shoot 🥰

A little swatch for my next project. I know swatching isn’t everyone’s favorite activity but I personally love it! Especially when I’m not sure how a yarn and pattern will work together. I am well on my way with this sweater and it has been such a pleasure to know! I’ve been craving a solid cabled project and this yarn has been sitting on the shelf for a few years now!

This little sweater went off to its new home for an upcoming baby friend. I saw the mini of the Stick Season sweater and it was too adorable to resist. Here’s hoping it fits when they arrive 🤞🏻

My finished collar on my Alvar Pullover! Double folded collars are definitely my favorite and totally worth the extra effort to me. Hoping to finish the body this week and then onto sleeve island!

All of my sweaters include a little extra love from Arya. Never far from me or my knitting, probably time for me to make her own wool blanket ♥️ 🧶 🐱

Enjoying every stitch of this project! It’s a more meditative knit as it requires a lot of my attention, that being said it’s incredibly enjoyable! I can’t wait to wear this one though it will be quite awhile until we get there…maybe by Valentine’s Day!

Up close look at my Alvar Sweater. Taking my time with this one (especially since I’ve made several mistakes and had to frog 😂). Really enjoying it even so!

After a bit of a re-work this is officially completely (ends woven in and all!) done! I originally made the lower half of the body in 1x1 rib instead of 1x2. I didn’t like how untidy it looked and so I ripped back a whole sleeve and half the body. In the end it was totally worth the effort. This was such an enjoyable knit and it inspired my next highly textured sweater!
