Up close look at the texture on this sweater! I find cable patterns to be so satisfying to knit! This one flew off my needles in less than two weeks (helps that it’s a baby knit 😂).

After finishing the ruby version of this sweater I decided we probably needed one for our baby too. This forest green yarn was picked by Steve and quickly turned into another baby sweater!

This beautiful set was gifted yesterday and it was definitely a hard one to let go! Nothing cuter than a tiny cabled sweater in my opinion. I may or may not have cast on a second one for our little one. Just about 2 months left until we meet our baby ❤️

Thanks to The Odyssey I finally finished baby’s cardigan. Steve and I picked out this yarn with hope that we would make it here and now we’re over halfway through the pregnancy and getting ready for our baby’s arrival in the fall. Steve picked the pattern without realizing it was actually quite challenging but I’m grateful as it kept my hands and mind occupied while I fretted over appointments, lab results and all the what ifs. It’s one of a kind and I’m excited to have our little one wear things we chose together ❤️

I’ve been pretty quiet lately as I’ve been working on my biggest project yet, we are expecting a baby this fall ❤️.

This time in my life has been joyful certainly but also riddled with anxiety. Pregnancy after loss has challenged me and I’m so grateful for the support I’ve gotten from my family and friends.

I’m knitting more for our little one which has helped me feel a bit more connected. I would love to hear what your favorite projects are for littles if you’re willing to share.

Lots of progress (though it feels so slow) on this sweater! Each row is so engaging but also takes a longgggg time because of all the texture! At this point just hoping I can get at least 1 good wear out of it before it warms up too much.

So delighted to be working on my Book Club Pullover again. I had to stop for awhile due to hand/wrist pain from the cables being so tight! I remember in the past a tip to size down the left hand needle and it has made ALL the difference. I was seriously considering unraveling the whole project and now I feel confident k can finish it pain-free!
