Thanks to The Odyssey I finally finished baby’s cardigan. Steve and I picked out this yarn with hope that we would make it here and now we’re over halfway through the pregnancy and getting ready for our baby’s arrival in the fall. Steve picked the pattern without realizing it was actually quite challenging but I’m grateful as it kept my hands and mind occupied while I fretted over appointments, lab results and all the what ifs. It’s one of a kind and I’m excited to have our little one wear things we chose together ❤️

A little matching set thanks to some gifted yarn from Emma Bechill . Is this my most practical set? Absolutely not. Is it adorable? Definitely.

I’ve been pretty quiet lately as I’ve been working on my biggest project yet, we are expecting a baby this fall ❤️.

This time in my life has been joyful certainly but also riddled with anxiety. Pregnancy after loss has challenged me and I’m so grateful for the support I’ve gotten from my family and friends.

I’m knitting more for our little one which has helped me feel a bit more connected. I would love to hear what your favorite projects are for littles if you’re willing to share.

Lots of progress (though it feels so slow) on this sweater! Each row is so engaging but also takes a longgggg time because of all the texture! At this point just hoping I can get at least 1 good wear out of it before it warms up too much.

So delighted to be working on my Book Club Pullover again. I had to stop for awhile due to hand/wrist pain from the cables being so tight! I remember in the past a tip to size down the left hand needle and it has made ALL the difference. I was seriously considering unraveling the whole project and now I feel confident k can finish it pain-free!

Huge progress in my Book Club Pullover! Initially I was a little intimidated by the charts but after the swatch I was pretty much off to the races! This has been an incredibly engaging knit- not to self: more cables!

My Christmas sweater turned into my Valentine’s Day sweater and she’s a keeper! This texture was such a pleasure to knit and as always Kelbourne Woolens scout is such a treat to work with ♥️. I’ll be wearing the heck out of this in the coming months because I’m obsessed! The sun has returned here in Baltimore hence the little photo shoot 🥰

A little swatch for my next project. I know swatching isn’t everyone’s favorite activity but I personally love it! Especially when I’m not sure how a yarn and pattern will work together. I am well on my way with this sweater and it has been such a pleasure to know! I’ve been craving a solid cabled project and this yarn has been sitting on the shelf for a few years now!

This little sweater went off to its new home for an upcoming baby friend. I saw the mini of the Stick Season sweater and it was too adorable to resist. Here’s hoping it fits when they arrive 🤞🏻
