Join A++ for improv on Friday, May 15th, for a full night of community and comedy starting with a pre-show AAPI celebration at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra!

We’re kicking things off from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall for PACE 2026, a free, family-friendly night market and resource fair celebrating AAPI excellence.

Afterward, head over to the Baltimore Improv Group at 9:00 PM for The A++ AAPI Heritage Month Show Spectacular, where we’ll turn stories into fast, unfiltered improv comedy.

What a night! 🥟✨ Huge thanks to everyone who joined A++ at for AAPI Heritage Month.

We were so inspired by Lucy Wang of Bao Di. Her stories took our improv sets from "two big rocks" in China and jungle (right about sport) to corn in Kentucky and the opening of her authentic Northern-focused restaurant in Highlandtown.

Turning Lucy’s journey into unscripted comedy was the perfect way to honor our community. Go visit her at Bao Di for those handmade dumplings they're worth two trips in one day!

This AAPI Heritage Month, A++ is sitting down with Lucy Wang of Bao Di, Highlandtown's authentic Northern-focused Chinese restaurant about how they're serving comforting, savory flavors and handmade dumplings. Her story is going to inspire our show!

Full disclosure: last time A++ was in Highlandtown, we ate at Bao Di twice in the same day.

A++ is Baltimore's first and only all Asian-American improv team, and what better way to celebrate our community than by drawing inspiration from an AAPI business owner right here in Baltimore?

At the We Are CASA fundraiser where the crowd came together and raised $2.4k for . Their work strengthens immigrant communities, protects workers, and expands access to essential services.

A++ shared some storytelling and improv alongside bluegrass and poetry, all in support of the mission.
