Poets For Dinner family, we've gained another angel.
Now, I wont lie and say I dont ever ask yall for anything. Because in all honesty, I do. I ask a lot of you already. But I just really need yall to help me on this one.
My cousin and Poets For Dinner family since she got bsck from Africa; Satin Doll passed away last night.
If you are familiar with her, if your familiar with us, then you would know her to be referred to as the woman who taught me to read and started my love for writing and poetry from the tender age of 3. Now, as heartbreaking as her passing already is, her very young daughter will now have to face her first Christmas without her. As an adult, when I lost my mom, the holidays was hell. I cant imagine how she feels.I say all that to say... it's not real comfort. But at least it can serve as a distraction or coping mechanism until the grief settles and shes able to fully process this loss. Help me clear/fulfill her (Olivia aka baby cuz) amazon wishlist.
