Last week, we successfully completed the final installment of our “Dress for Success” events at Magnolia Middle School and Riverside Elementary School. At Magnolia Middle School, 6th-grade students were visited by Edgewood Middle School students who are also members of WillPower and are being developed as leaders. The Edgewood students led presentations and activities that introduced the 6th graders to key leadership skills and concepts. At Riverside Elementary School, students were encouraged to respect themselves, build confidence, and embrace their individuality as they took turns walking down the red carpet.

#4 Dress for Success at Team Deerfield! Thank you to Edgewood High Senior, Kareem Wallace for demonstrating what excellence looks like in your youth & what’s possible through purpose, intention & balance. Thank you to the Admin of Edgewood Middle for allowing WillPower members to attend, serve & encourage the students at Deerfield elementary.
We’ve been doing a series on first impressions. We want to make sure our students know that they are always being watched and that there is a formula to making a lasting impact.
