Day 5 of KFTC and we ended the week ! We got a tour of and learned all about bees! The kids had some really thoughtful questions.
When we came back to the building we learned about the difference between Gods kingdom and earthly kingdoms. The kids had lots of thoughtful remarks on how they are different. We talked about the parable of the matters seed and the kids wrote down some ways that they can share Gods love with others on seed paper that they can take home and plant. When the seeds sprout our hope is that it reminds them of how Gods kingdom is growing in and through them. ♥️
We ended the day with a pasta scavenger hunt and a showing of Yes Day!
It truly was an honor spending the week with awesome volunteers and amazing kids! Don’t forget to wear your tie dye on Monday!

Day 4 at KFTC was our first day with just 3-5th graders and they brought the energy! We learned about Gods simple kingdom by building tall towers with legos and then building something small that can change everything (spoiler: both groups built love in their own way ♥️). They acted out the yeast, mustard seed, and pearl kingdom parables to explore the parables. We have some real theatrical kids on our hands! came in today and taught Simple Kingdom to the kids and they didn’t want to stop singing.
We had a lot of fun baking break to share with neighbors and tie dying onesies for baby bags. It was so fun to see these kids problem solve and work together today with all of our activities and games.
One more day left!
