The Morpha Bralet, a butterfly-inspired piece created for our made-to-order capsule collection! 🦋🩵🦋 (reposting bc IG didn’t load all the photos the first time)
The design was drawn by hand (see the video I posted last year) on the pattern piece and then scanned into Illustrator before being cut from a high-profile heat transfer vinyl. The vinyl is then heat-pressed to a pattern piece cut from power mesh before being sewn.
After much testing I found that the htv would come off the nylon power mesh as they are incompatible materials and so I started the quest for a solution. I tried many different methods but nothing worked—until yesterday when I finally found a fix! I’m excited to share the results with you, so check back soon to see the process and final product 🔥
I take a holistic approach to sustainability and one aspect of that is making sure Icosa clothes are made to last. That’s why the htv/nylon challenge was so frustrating—I didn’t want to compromise my design or use an inferior polyester mesh. But perseverance paid off! New creativity unlocked!
Photog Pat Bourque really captured the essence of this piece on model Sarah 🕶️—thanks again team for such wonderful images! 📸

I was inspired by the last Havoc class at Masada to run 17.76 miles this weekend to mark Independence Day— it was 86 degrees and my phone overheated and died so it was actually more like 20 miles 🥵. But it felt great to get outside and run through Baltimore in my American-made activewear, and of course my little girl helped me stretch afterwards 😉 Happy birthday USA! 🎆

Training and loving the cool weather! 🍁
It’s finally time for long sleeves and White Paws Run Mitts 🐾
Fall has always been my favorite time of year and it’s so nice to spend a Sunday morning outside running in the leaves. Tomorrow I’ll be back in the factory wrapping up our first presale shipment and getting ready to launch our next piece!
Happy Sunday!

Happy Tutu-Tuesday! Here’s a glimpse of the Wisp Tutu skirt and Morpha bralet at sunset on the 8th floor of the BIC last weekend. The light was so pretty but it didn’t last long so I had to work fast 😉
Our presale is open til the end of September—check it out in our site and support small business and USA-made activewear!

The Ultimate Utility Tote in black waxed cotton—our new favorite!
I didn’t think I’d like this color as much since it doesn’t have the same rustic crinkled texture as the grey waxed cotton, but after the sample was made I ended up loving the sleek look and decided to have it as an option with the Morpha collection. It’s lined with black cotton ripstop and heavy-duty cotton straps for easy carrying. Which color is your favorite? 🤩
