🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP FOR NANNY FRAN 🚨

Meet Nanny Fran: 14 pounds of devotion, loyalty, and attitude wrapped up in one ridiculously adorable package.

Fran is 3 years old, loves her people with her whole heart, and gets along just fine with dogs and cats. When she decides you're her person, she takes that job very seriously. Fran can become possessive of her humans and may nip if she feels jealous of other dogs or people competing for attention.

Because of this, she needs a home with no small children. She could thrive as an only dog, OR with an experienced adopter or foster who understands resource guarding and is willing to help her continue learning better ways to share her favorite humans with other dogs.

Fran had to leave her foster home abruptly and is now sitting in boarding. For a little dog whose entire world revolves around loving her person, kennel life is especially hard.

This girl would follow her favorite human to the ends of the earth. Her loyalty is unmatched. Once you're in Fran's circle, you're in it forever.

When we put out the call to help us fundraise, we received a message from one of our previous adopters:

Remember these adorable puppies? The Whiskey litter that were found in a field? They've all been adopted - all but one! Parker is still waiting for his forever home; he's now six months old, about full grown at 28 lbs and loves dogs, cats, and people! His fosters say he's crate and potty trained and loves to play outside in the yard with his foster brother! If you're looking for a friendly playful pup, Parker is your guy!

Calling all D**K couples, empty nesters, work-from-home humans, and anyone looking for a loyal little sidekick! Fran is a 3-year-old, 14 lb jack russell mix who is equal parts cuddly companion and fetch enthusiast. She’s potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and has done amazing at adoption events — this girl loves her people!

Fran would thrive as the star of the show in an adult home (or older kids only) with no other pets in the home. She can be around other dogs just fine, but she prefers soaking up all the love herself and can be jealous of housemates. If you’re looking for a sweet, social little best friend to follow you around and snuggle up with, Fran may be your girl.

These puppies should be on their way to the mainland right now. Instead, they're still waiting in Puerto Rico.

Three canine courier cancellations left them without a way to get here, and now we're scrambling to find new flights.

Meet Tommy: From Survivor to Sidekick 🖤

Tommy is a 1.5-year-old, 30-pound mixed breed with the sweetest soul and the BEST comeback story. When Tommy was found, he was in heartbreaking condition — hairless, neglected, and clearly failed by humans. But despite everything he’s been through, this boy chose happiness.

Today, Tommy is healthy, happy, and ready for a family of his own. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and absolutely LOVES other dogs. He’s the kind of dog who is just happy to be included — whether that’s tagging along on adventures or curling up after a long day.

Tommy does best in an adult-only home (no kids), where he can feel safe and continue thriving. He would love a dog friend, but mostly he just wants someone to finally choose him.

Tommy is currently looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home. After everything he’s survived, we know his best chapter is still ahead. 🖤

At 3 years old and 13 pounds, this tiny queen cannot understand why no one has volunteered to foster her yet. She feels this is unacceptable.

Nikita is a shy girl at first, but once she decides you’re her person, she loves hard. She warms up beautifully and becomes a sweet little companion who just wants to hang with her humans. She’s great with other dogs, though we don’t yet know her thoughts on cats or kids.

Tiny? Yes. Dramatic side-eye? Also yes. But underneath that serious face is a sweet girl just waiting for someone to give her a chance.
