I’m truly honored to share that I was recently recognized with Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association for Best Enterprise Reporting and Outstanding Spot News Reporting.
Journalism is always a team effort, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to Cory Sellgren and Kenny Whichard who are the incredible photographers I collaborated with on both of these pieces.

I am so grateful to be nominated in the Live Reporting category for the Capital Emmy’s! The stories we often report on are urgent and breaking. We try to get as much information as quickly as possible to make viewers at home feel like they have a clear picture on what we are seeing and experiencing. To be recognized for this work is truly an honor.

Four years ago the Mass Shooting at the Tops Markets on Jefferson Ave. in Buffalo took the lives of 10 neighbors. Today I pray for the victims and their families. Thinking about Buffalo today.

Two Southwest flights clipped wings Monday after pushing back from their gates in Concourse A at BWI Thurgood Marshall. The FAA says it is investigating and that this is an area where flight crews do not have contact with the air traffic control tower. WJZ-TV | CBS Baltimore
NEW: Commercial Pilot Bill Pearce tells me this plane should’ve been 50 feet off the ground at the base of the runway. He says the approach was much lower than what the FAA designed. WJZ-TV | CBS Baltimore
