I had the delightful surprise of leading two quilling workshops at the Jane Austen Society North America Annual General Meeting . With just two weeks to prepare for 50 participants, it was a whirlwind, but seeing everything come together was rewarding. From quilling tool bags to detailed instruction booklets, every aspect was carefully considered. Despite the stress of fitting it into my 9-to-5 schedule, it never felt like work – it was a true labor of love.

Met while on a work related visit to DC and he invited me to this private event (the host was not tryna let me in, lol) and it’s a whole vibe. Chris (as if I know him personally) is a whole vibe. My gallery wall is FINALLY coming together. This s**t is A LOT of work but I think it’s gonna be worth it. Maybe there’s a different way to do it but I cut paper to match the size of my 52 pieces of quilled art and painstakingly arranged them in a way that I can live with, on my deep ocean wall. It’s a good thing I gave a lot of pieces away because I wouldn’t have room for them.
