Join us to discuss having "the talk" with the young people in your life. Participants will learn about developmental milestones, practice actually having the conversation in a safe space, examine beliefs that keep us from having the conversation, and be given tons of resources and guidance to continue having the conversations for years to come.
This workshop is for parents, youth serving adults, and caretakers to equip and empower them to have conversations about s*x with the young people, of all ages, in their lives. Join us for group activities and practice in having the important courageous conversations!

We hold everything. Pain, joy, hope, liberation. Truly honored to be a part of this phenomenal collective. Join us on Sunday!

We are Black Mamas in Baltimore. We are cis, trans, gender non-binary and disabled. We identify as mothers, parents, aunties, grandmothers, sister friends and caretakers. By blood and by love we nurture our communities with ancestral knowing and fervor. We are enough!
In a world that is finally paying attention to state violence against Black people in the form of police brutality, and economic, health and educational inequities, we continue to center justice and liberation. We call on our neighbors and elected officials to sign on and advance our call to action for Black liberation in the City of Baltimore. We choose to stand in our power along with our partners, our children and our communities. We choose art. We choose joy. We choose love. We choose freedom. We are enough!
Join us on Sunday, July 5, 2020 with our children, families and community! Child centered activities will be provided by Orita’s Cross Freedom School. Come be in community to help build Baltimore’s Black policy agenda as we center justice & liberation.
Masks and appropriate distance are requested for the safety of our families. Please respect the space and others around you. Masks and sanitizer will be available during the assembly until supplies run out.

Nelson Mandela said courage is not the absence of fear but action in the face of it. Birthing families are living in some fearful times. We all are. Courage is possible.
