I performed this past Sunday Flourish Baltimore hosted by my good sis MovaKween. Based on the reception of my performance and seeing some great poets at other events this past week such as K Love and Seasoned Dialogue I have decided to concentrate on spoken word and perform. My deepest inspiration is Mama Laini Mataka, never have I heard such a warrior spirit pump thru a woman who want it back in blood and makes NO apologies about it. In the meantime I'm creating... The Black Woman is bringing me back to the forefront with my gift. I'm grateful.
I told myself I was going to do this at some point to get back in the habit of rhyming and showcasing. I'll be back with more.
