It was a joy to present an evening of Kaija Saariaho's music in 2012, featuring Cristobal Gajardo, Leah Inger, Peter Kibbe, and Ta-Wei Tsai. I've always been drawn in by the beauty and mystery of her work; we listened to and discussed it often in my Music Now class at the Peabody Institute over the years. Sending love to her family, with profound admiration for all that she created and shared with the world. -Judah Adashi
