Two more headshots from my session at the architectural firm in Washington, D.C., In one she opted to smile, and one with a hint of a grin.

I traveled to Washington, D.C. this week to take headshots at a minority-owned architectural firm. This gentleman opted for two photos one with his vest and one without. While it may look like he smiled naturally it took several staff members to coax that smile out of him.

Yesterday, I photographed a race and walk that raised money for prostate cancer research and services. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, it's estimated that 238,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. Of that total, 34,700 will not survive. Prostate cancer is the second deadliest cancer for men.

This spring I photographed the Immigration Summit sponsored by Towson University and the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs. The summit featured Mayor Brandon Scott and Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman as the keynotes. There were several concurrent workshops so I went from room to room to get photos of each speaker.

Photos from another family portrait session. The children are cute and active. Getting them still for just an instant was challenging. I worked fast knowing a meltdown could be right around the corner.
