Our BioWall at Wheaton Town Center is an absolute stunner. Spanning over 1000sqft and two stories, this wall greets visitors near the welcome lobby desk with waterfalls of ferns and rainforest flora. But it's the sharp architectural lines above that really give this a sense of contrast.

Here's a Sedum reflexum specimen on top of one of our in full bloom. Also called Blue Spruce Stonecrop - its leaves resemble spruce needles until these bright yellow floral display arrive in late summer. It is very hard and drought tolerant making it a favorite for our winters.

Here at the end of it's bloom is Phedimus spurius - or the two-row stonecrop - which is native to Asia and eastern Europe. This hardy little succulent can withstand cold winters well into the negatives but does enjoy full sun and well drained soil. Next, our Stewardship crews will remove any decaying material to make room for new growth in the spring.
