Itineris Baltimore
Empowering autistic adults to live meaningful lives, throughout their lifespan.
Yesterday, Itineris client and Kennedy Krieger High School Alum Kelsey addressed the Class of 2026 and their families at their Graduation Ceremony. Kelsey spoke about how Itineris has helped her find meaningful employment, what types of work she completes at Zoe’s Just Dezzerts, and, most importantly, gave advice to the new graduates.
“Don’t let anyone stop you from what you want to do in your life.” Well said, Kelsey! Thanks for sharing your words and being such a positive role model.
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026!

Happy Pride! It was our honor to join The Arc Baltimore, Chimes, Creative Options, and other local disability organizations to walk in the Pride Parade on Charles Street again this year.
Celebrating our identities and showing support for others aligns with one of Itineris’ core values: embracing diversity with passion and promoting safe spaces for inclusion.
Enjoy the rest of Pride Month!

Last week, many of the individuals we support came together to prepare our End-of-Year Appeal by folding letters, applying labels, and sealing envelopes. If you're part of the Itineris community, there's a good chance an autistic adult helped ensure our message reached your mailbox.
That simple task represents something much bigger: opportunities to learn new skills, contribute in meaningful ways, and experience the pride that comes from being an active participant in the community.
As we close our fiscal year, we invite you to invest in those opportunities. Your gift helps provide person-centered services, employment discovery, community engagement, and the dedicated support staff who make growth and independence possible.
Every autistic adult deserves the opportunity to live, work, connect, and thrive. With your support, we can continue creating pathways to meaningful lives and stronger communities.
Make your year-end gift today and help us close the $200,000 gap to ensure these opportunities continue for years to come.

Itineris is dedicated to embracing diversity and promoting safe spaces for inclusion, which is why we are proud to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month this June. According to Psychology Today, it’s estimated that anywhere from 30% to 70% of those who are neurodivergent are also part of the LGBTQIA+ communities, with the greatest overlap being found within the autistic community.
Today and every day, we celebrate the individuality, identities, and voices that make our community stronger.
Happy Pride from all of us at Itineris!

As our fiscal year wraps up, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to two board members who have dedicated themselves to autistic adults and our mission.
Board President P.J. Shafer will remain on the board, but is stepping down from the President position.
Peter Kirchgraber, also a previous board president and longtime driving force behind Itineris, has completed a 10-year term on our board.
Our community is forever grateful for your leadership, expertise, and support!
We look forward to introducing our new Board President and Executive Committee next month!
