Intuitive Machines is taking another giant leap in Maryland.
Fresh off its historic 2024 lunar landing, the space infrastructure company has signed a full-building lease at BWI Tech Park in Linthicum, Maryland, where it will establish a new Space Robotics and Mechanisms Center of Excellence.
The move represents Intuitive Machines' fifth expansion with St. John Properties since 2021.
"We envision that the significant expansion of this facility’s spacecraft manufacturing, integration, and testing capabilities will solidify the Intuitive Machines Maryland office as a leading force in spacecraft and lunar surface mechanisms and robotics on the East Coast," stated Jon Kraeuter of Intuitive Machines.

Exciting progress in Middle River, Maryland, as St. John Properties and Somerset Companies break ground on Aspen at Greenleigh, a $148 million luxury multifamily community within our Greenleigh mixed-use community.
The 335-unit development is being built to meet the way people live today, with oversized living spaces, extensive amenities, and a focus on sustainability and long-term performance.
Aspen at Greenleigh is also setting a new benchmark in multifamily construction as the future largest Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building in North America.
“Most significantly, ICF construction produces a high-performance and well-sealed building which is environmentally friendly, enhances indoor air quality, and lessens the likelihood of mold,” said Michael Poirot, Vice President, Multifamily Construction for St. John Properties.
Aspen at Greenleigh is expected to deliver in late 2027.
