What’s so enjoyable about being a business owner?

I’ve had conversations with business owners and I think we’re the most stressed compared to having a job/W2 income.

According to a LinkedIn article, here are some statistics (which I think I experienced ALL 10):

1. 72% of founders struggle with mental health

2. 37% suffer from anxiety

3. 36% experience burnout

4. 10% have panic attacks

5. 54% of founders are very stressed about their business with fear of failure

6. 81% of founders hide their stress, fears, and challenges from others

7. More than 50% of founders lose sleep since founding their companies

8. 47% of founders exercise less

9. Founders spend 60% less time with spouse, 58% less time with kids, and 73% less time with friends and family. Average level of loneliness reported 7.6 out of 10

10. 93% of founders would do it all again

I have to find balance through prayer and meditation during that alone time. And I spend time with those who genuinely care about my wellbeing.

Because we don’t share our stress or life challenges with clients or customers, we’re trampled upon when we’re already down.

𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠‼️ Support black owned if you’re not willing to give an encouraging word to a business owner who happens to be black, or any other skin color. We all struggle behind closed doors and no one will fully understand.

However, I’m still a WINNER and ready to conquer another day with EVERY PIECE of energy within me.

He owns a successful business, Creative Legacy Films, where he provides video and production services!! A couple of his largest projects include Maverick City live performances, Reunion Tour with Kirk Franklin, and Butler Squared Magazine!!

We’re looking forward to continue serving James and his company with extraordinary accounting/bookkeeping and tax services!!

Today marks the occasion that we’re electing S Corp to give him the best tax savings!! He’s a young business owner who actually value the services of his accountant!!

Cheers 🥂 because our future looks bright!!! 2024 is the year to level up even more and we’re doing just that….

This journey to 50 hits different. I’m grateful for every lesson learned, every relationship (even the ones broken), and this path that is designed just for me ❤️

I’ve accomplished so much, and lost a lot. The balance is REAL!

I’m sure the next many years will have challenges, but what’s different is I’m built for this. And even if I’m not, I know who I can call upon.

Did I think I would be who I am today?!? Absolutely not!!

But as I embark upon this new year, my eyes are set on key strategies aligned with my goals, celebrating ME more often, mentoring my son to grow into a successful influential young entrepreneur/key leader/trendsetter, continuing to build & protect the legacy I created, and launch more businesses!!

I’m not the average black man. I’m a leader and will never settle for less than what I deserve.

Rejections to me are signs that I deserve better!! If it ain’t what I need, ✌🏾. YAH knows all things and has all the answers.

I WIN even if I lost something. I WIN even if challenges tried to defeat me. I WIN even in the face of adversity.

I’m someone’s biggest regret and YAH will make sure of it.

I know who I am and the future is still blurry; but I know where my help comes from.
