"In particular, Downtown Baltimore has become a hotbed for new apartment projects, with 533 units currently under construction and over 2,600 units in the planning stages. Several prominent corners in Downtown will soon become hubs of activity, as 114 E. Lexington Street, 301 N. Charles Street, 520 Park Avenue, 521 St. Paul Street, 10 Light Street, and 1 W. Baltimore Street (the former Mechanic Theatre) are redeveloped into large apartment buildings."
