To help make a dent in the mountain of vet bills from our snake Spooky and cat Wheatley this month I am taking on one last commission at my current pricing!

Due to cost of living increases I will be raising my prices at the beginning of March so this is the last chance to nab a suit from me this cheap!

For those wondering, Wheatley has an appointment with the vet on Thursday to get more bloodwork done and hopefully get him on a new thyroid medication!

Just wanted to make this post for full transparency about what has been going on lately. I am so sorry for the folks I have disappointed and I am working my hardest to get back on track ❤️

I’ve been really bad about posting regularly to my social media lately because of my anxiety/mental health but I am trying to get back into the habit of posting daily, even if it’s just a quick wip or a goofy photo.

For today heres a brown bear WIP during its furring process!

Unfortunately my wife and I had to say goodbye to Spooky, our 6 year old cornsnake..

We found him in his tank yesterday with a discolored tail and blood coming from his vent. We rushed him to the emergency vet(luckily the local one has an exotic vet on staff) and was diagnosed with a blood clot. He got an X-ray, pain meds, and antibiotics and was active, if a bit sleepy, at discharge. The vet seemed very hopeful of a full recovery(with the possibility of a possible amputation if things didn’t improve).

Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse on the drive home(vets best guess is he threw another clot after we left) and was lifeless when we got home. We rushed him right back but his heart rate was dropping rapidly and we had to say goodbye…

He has always been very healthy so this came out of no where...

Spooky was the goofiest, sweetest snake and will be missed 💔

Please bear with me, I will be taking today off to spend time with my wife while we mourn but I will be back tomorrow to continue catching up with work. Thank you all for your patience and understanding, please give your pets some love from us today…

Between MFF prep/travel//unpacking/recovery, my wife’s birthday, the holidays, and some bad family health news this month has been a literal nightmare…

I am beyond burnt out and exhausted right now but I am slowly recovering and getting things back into working order. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding while I work to catch up and get my feet back under me!
