Baltimore City Needle Exchange is currently one of the oldest confidential needle exchange program
The Baltimore City Needle Exchange Program (NEP) seeks to minimize HIV and hepatitis C transmission by reducing the circulation of used syringes. The program also provides referrals and linkages to drug treatment services, as well as testing for syphilis and HIV. These services are provided in seventeen locations throughout East and West Baltimore

We are excited to share that the application deadline for the Harm Reduction Vending Machine Program has been extended, providing additional organizations the opportunity to participate in this innovative public health initiative.
We are seeking community-based organizations, healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, and other community partners interested in expanding access to free health and harm reduction resources throughout Baltimore City.
