YDI developed a custom script mark for Fifth-Third Park, home of Spartanburg, SC’s Spartanburgers – and designed extensive signage and graphics throughout the stadium, from concession stands to the team clubhouse and beyond. Designers created iconic mural artwork through a series of detailed sketches, ensuring that the final pieces pay proper homage to the team and the city, in addition to the team’s major league affiliate, the Texas Rangers.

YDI developed a modern, minimal brand and an interactive website for DesignerBank, an online learning resource offering interior design “modules” and lessons from professional designers. Clean, geometric typography and a subtle palette define the brand across applications.

YDI designed signage and iconic installations at the Pittsburgh Pirates’ stadium, the first updates there since the park opened. From banners to playful concessions brands, these updates breathe new life into PNC Park – YDI even worked with local artists from the Steel City who created artwork for “Memorable Moment” panels along the main concourse.
YDI honored the Winter Olympics in Italy with a little friendly competition of its own: Saucelympics! Designers brought in their creations and took part in a taste test lunch to determine the champion (pasta emoji) Podium categories included Crowd Favorite, Most Creative Sauce, and Best Traditional Sauce – but with so many tasty options, everyone walked away a winner 🍝

It’s a snow day for YDI! ❄️
We’re all working from home today, and the pups are loving it.
YDI had a great 2025! We tackled some fun projects, from the Spartanburgers’ ballpark to walls of waffle irons. In every case, our designers rose to the challenge and created iconic moments that infuse their surroundings with energy and character. And we’re looking forward to another exciting year of bringing brands to life!
GIVING GIFTS AND GIVING BACK
The YDI office recently celebrated the holidays with a white elephant gift swap – our theme this year was “Snacks!” From festive cookies to fancy cooking equipment, everyone brought something exciting to the table. And after giving each other gifts, we took a trip over to Meals On Wheels Of Central Maryland in East Baltimore to give back to the community. We packed over 2000 meals for aging, homebound, and disabled adults – and had a great time doing it!

We partnered with Golden Waffles on a sweet assignment: designing vibrant, personality-packed signage for their headquarters that celebrates GW’s playful brand and their history as a supplier of waffle irons and mix to hotels and universities across the country. 🧇 ✨
