The Behavioral Health Resources and Technical Assistance Team at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy provides technical assistance to guide jurisdictions and communities across Maryland through the Strategic Prevention Framework in addressing substance use prevention.

"The Partnership for a Safer Maryland Annual Meeting will bring together injury and violence prevention professionals from across Maryland to explore emerging trends, statewide initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration across prevention areas. Attendees will hear updates on PSM’s priority prevention topics, including child abuse and neglect, fall prevention, intimate partner violence, motor vehicle safety, poisonings, traumatic brain injury, and su***de prevention, while also learning about the Safe States Shared Risk & Protective Factors Project. The meeting will provide opportunities for interactive feedback, networking, and discussion on strengthening prevention efforts and cross-sector partnerships throughout Maryland."
