If you have the opportunity to catch Jaimoe with Friends of the Brothers don’t miss it… it’s living history and the continuation and evolution of REAL American music that goes back to the roots and comes forward living and breathing…while pulling no punches. I’ve experienced them personally and highly recommend that you spend some quality time with them.

In my half century career I've had the opportunity to work with a lot of cool, interesting human beings from very diverse walks of life. It's one of the reasons I love doing this. I learned yesterday that one of the more unique and memorable, fell to cancer. He went by Bub...and at this point I couldn't even tell you his given name. When our paths crossed, he was a biker who loved riding his Harley with his buddies. My friend and sometimes collaborator Rob Gibson was trying to create a Reality TV show... ( a lot of people were attempting that ) and I was helping them. We had some fun adventures along the way...sadly the concept didn't sell and the "Relic Society" ended it's quest. Here's a short video we did to introduce Bub, who was often heard saying "F-ing A" which could be good or bad...kind of like in The Wire. Meet Bub...rest in peace.
