Twitter Eases Process for Getting a Verified Account Twitter announced Tuesday it has created an online application process for users to apply for a verified status.

I don't know why I'm still surprised that some people think this is an acceptable way to market their business...the actual email I received today complete with generic attachment:

July 1, Springboard celebrated 7 years in business! What an incredible 7 years. There is nothing like starting a business 6 weeks prior to a major financial institution going bankrupt and 6 weeks later the stock market is cut in half practically overnight. What a strange and wild ride it has been and I wouldn't change it for anything.
