Congrats, Ona!

I’m over the moon to share this wonderful news! Deepest gratitude to Jane’s Stories Press and my amazing publisher, Apprentice House. I’m so touched by the award committee’s words about my book:

Ona Gritz's tragic and inspiring memoir revels in its authentic first-hand account of this author's will to examine her beloved sister Angie's violent death and traumatic childhood, as well as Angie's risky and questionable choices. As the author wrestles with her own conscience about the disparate childhoods she and Angie experienced, the truth she learns about their family's dark secrets only make Ona love Angie more.
