Created by two local professionals, each with toddlers of their own, Play Cafe Baltimore is a cafe, coffeehouse and interactive play space all in one.

Going out with small children is tough. Like really tough. We need more truly kid friendly places to go. Places where parents can go with their young children and feel comfortable. Places where you can meet up with a friend to catch up. A place to go when you just need to get out of the house. A place that is fun for your child, and for you as well! This is the inspiration for Play Café Baltimore.

After nearly 3 years serving the Baltimore community that we love, we are sad to announce that our last day of operations will be Friday, March 23. It has been an agonizing decision to come to, both because we love what we do and feel the love from all of you, but as many of you with young families can relate, other opportunities have arisen that are better suited for us at this stage of life.

The first of its kind in Baltimore, we have become a staple for people with young kids to come, feel comfortable, and fill their bellies with good food. The winter is an especially hard time to find things to do so we will remain open for the rest of the winter so we can still fill that void. So for the next month, come, hang out, eat yummy food and let your kids play. We’d love to see you!
