Oh, Birdie 🙏

Birdies right eye has been weak lately so I started with the Terramycin over the weekend but sadly, she had no relief. I dropped Birdie off with Dr. Danna at Carney this morning to be evaluated and get some solid answers.

Michelle took great care of her today and Birdie was diagnosed with a deep, severe corneal ulcer. We were given three different eye meds to apply every two hours to her infected eye and received a Convenia shot.

These poor cats and kittens do not deserve all of this suffering and this is one of a thousand reasons to spay and neuter/TNR the many cats!! 🙏

We are scheduled to head out early tomorrow morning in an effort to contain an injured kitty named Bob and get him necessary medical attention.

These four girls were taken to BCAS for spay and sadly, they have all been through one thing or another lately. Three were pregnant and one has a single baby waiting for her return. 😿

One of the friendly girls was taken in through the adoption program at BCAS today, will have her spay surgery asap and find a loving home. 🖤

I am grateful to BCAS for the many, many surgeries they have helped us with over the years. Especially the last few months! Thank you 🙏
