Steve Windows' Window Washers

Finished washing some incredibly dirty windows on the sixth floor of the Colonnade here in Baltimore. I'm up on the 10th floor in a couple weeks.

Seventh Floor Baby! You have to know what you are doing. The last person didn't. The layer of crusty dirt baked onto the windows needed to be scraped off. One can spend a whole day with Windex and still not get the window clear. Every inch and every edge perfectly clean. It's hard for me to believe that I have been washing windows for just about 45 years. Experience, good genes and the need to provide income, all to your benefit.

Now would you really feel good about coming home to mud on your windows? The stone work on their path was just finished before I washed off the debris.

Sometimes there is a remarkable difference that can be shown in a photograph. Here's 8 years on the lower half.

Now they can see the leaves change colors.

Just another typical job. Well, maybe the front is. When you get to the back you have one of these solariums to deal with. I heard that one company even walked on this. Not me. I have "know how".

Some of my jobs get me to far away places.

Did you know that Baltimore has a Zen Garden? It's by Woodberry Street. This building has direct access to it. That was my day, kinda zen.

Sometimes a person's gotta do what they gotta do. Holly trees are not the friendliest. Still, the payoff was worth it.
