WOW! The official Nathan Mitchell Photography 2024 Year In Review is here! We’ve got everything covered this year, gorgeous weddings, beautiful engagement sessions, super fun family documentary sessions, incredible newborn sessions!

This year I’ve also included a few images from all of my time spent photographing artists at work here in Baltimore, events in the DMV area, a trip to Italy, and at the end I’ve included some photos of the fam in there too.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did making them. Here’s hoping 2025 is…also good!

So excited to share with you this incredible family session from last month, on the blog today! Link in Bio. 👆

I spent three hours with the Harlans documenting a pretty typical saturday morning, y’know, the standard stuff like making pancakes, raking leaves, chopping wood, making a fire, goofing around, and constructing a wooden porch swing from scratch in their garage workshop. normal saturday!

I am so excited to start offering Family Documentary Sessions to those families who want to have not just a bunch of great portraits, but also a set of photos that authentically depict how you’re living life. I can’t wait to show off a few more of these sessions in the coming months!

Hangin a couple weeks ago with Brian and while they were at recording some drums for End It’s new album! You’re gonna want to hear it when it’s done. 🤘

I just love the recording process. the headspace you get into when you’re in the studio trying out stuff, the spirit of collaboration especially working with a really good producer and just getting cool sounds, and then really playing, pushing yourself, working hard, feeling good, feeling frustrated, powering through every kind of issue whether it’s technical or mental or physical, and coming out of it making totally new stuff you never thought possible.

And a lot of people know this but Brian is the absolute best at this. When Prisms was recording with him he would consistently find ways to push us to the next level or show us how to think about a song in a new way. The same was true with End It. he was gently guiding the decision-making process to get the best ideas worked out and the best performances out of Chris. And the End It dudes were super cool to hang with, so thanks for having me along! These tracks are gonna be fire.🎇
