Registration is now OPEN for the 2026 Spring Lecture Series: Materials and Methods. We are so excited to announce the dates and incredible speakers for our annual Spring Lecture Series. We have a full line up this year, with a BIG opening lecture at MICA Brown Center. All following lectures will be held at the historic Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church.

In this renovation, by redirecting a stair and removing a wall to an adjacent room we were able to expand the kitchen area to feel more open including a larger island and a casual breakfast nook.

This area, bathed in beautiful natural light, underwent a timeless makeover featuring new wall coverings and a sleek flat-panel wainscot. With the addition of the perfect lighting fixtures and stylish furniture, it's now primed for entertaining!

BEFORE & AFTER KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION
This house isn't just a home for the President of Loyola University; it's an exquisite entertaining space.
What was once a back-of-house kitchen has now been transformed into a warm and inviting catering space, perfect for everyday family gatherings as well as larger-scale entertaining.
