Apparently, if a 65.8-lb professional snuggler looks cute enough in pajamas, the rain has no choice but to pack its bags. We’re still waiting for confirmation. ☔️👀

But while Tristan waits for the sun to come back, here’s the real forecast:

DEAR DIARY… ❤️
Today I have something I’ve been waiting FIVE MONTHS to write…I HAVE A FOSTER HOME. 🥹

For five long months, I watched other dogs come and go while I waited in boarding. Five months of wondering when it would finally be my turn.

And then someone came along and took a chance on me.

They opened their home, opened their heart, and said, “Paco, come on. Let’s give this a try.”

And you know what? I’m doing GREAT. ❤️

My foster says I’ve been such an easy boy. I’m settling in. I’m relaxing more every day. I’m learning that I don’t have to spend my days waiting for someone to choose me.

I can nap.
I can cuddle.
I can play with my toys.
I can go for walks.
I can make my people laugh with my goofy personality.
I can just… be Paco.

And after five months of boarding, I think I’m finally starting to understand what a home feels like.

Now I just need someone to make it permanent.

I’m 69 pounds of goofy, affectionate, happy, cuddly love. I’m housetrained, crate trained, well trained, eager to please, treat motivated, and I LOVE my people. I’m active and would love a family who will give me a couple walks a day and some yard play. Kids 12+ would be perfect. Cats? Probably not. I’m just a little too curious. 😂

But here’s what I really want you to know…

Someone finally took a chance on me.
And I’m showing them every single day that I was worth the chance.
Now I hope my next stop is a forever home.

🚨 Friday Night SOS for Blake 🚨

It’s Friday night, and while most dogs are gearing up for a weekend of walks, zoomies, wrestling matches and playing way too hard… Blake is waiting.

And he’s been waiting long enough. 💔

Blake has already endured one knee surgery. Just when we thought he was finally he healed, his OTHER knee tore. Now this sweet 4-year-old boy needs a second TPLO surgery so he can finally put this behind him.

His surgery is estimated at $6,344.95.

We need to raise the funds NOW so we can get Blake scheduled for surgery and give him the life he has been waiting for.

Because Blake doesn’t want much.

He wants to RUN.

He wants to PLAY.

He wants to zoom around the yard like a maniac.

He wants to roughhouse with his dog friends.

He wants to chase toys, go for walks and do all the ridiculous, wonderful things dogs are supposed to do.

He just wants to finally be a DOG. 🥺🐾

Winter may not hear the world around her, but she has a heart that speaks volumes. This beautiful 6-year-old girl is a professional snuggler who would happily spend her days curled up beside her favorite person, soaking up all the love she can get. ❤️

Winter is house-trained, crate-trained, and wonderfully cuddly. She has been patient and loving with children and would love a home where she can be your one-and-only furry companion. She’s not looking to share her people with cats or other dogs—she has plenty of love to give all on her own!

Because Winter is deaf, her new family will need to communicate with her using hand signals and other visual cues. She may experience the world a little differently, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She’s sweet, affectionate, and perfectly happy being close to her people.

With her low-to-medium energy level, Winter would be happy with a leisurely walk or two each day followed by her favorite activity: snuggling and napping with her humans. 🥰

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who can keep up with your adventures and then happily curl up beside you for a movie marathon, Cinnamon may be your girl!

Cinnamon is a beautiful 57-pound brindle sweetheart who is affectionate, cuddly, playful, and eager to please. She loves her people and is happiest when she can be part of whatever you’re doing. She’ll happily join you for a walk, play in the yard, chase her favorite toys, soak up some sunshine, and then settle in beside you for some serious couch cuddles. She’s also a calm passenger in the car, making her a great adventure buddy.

Cinnamon is housetrained, crate trained, well trained, and walks nicely on leash. She’s treat motivated and loves learning, and her professional training has helped her make tremendous progress since coming from the shelter.

She has a medium-to-high energy level and will need at least two walks a day along with some yard play and opportunities to stay active. After she gets her exercise, though, Cinnamon is more than happy to relax and enjoy some quality time with her favorite humans.

Cinnamon can live with another dog and tends to pair best with a younger dog who enjoys a similar rough-and-tumble play style. She genuinely enjoys canine friends and is happy to share her toys. Slow, thoughtful introductions will be important to finding the right match. She is not a good match for a home with cats or other small animals because she is simply too curious and has a strong prey drive.

When Cinnamon first arrived at the shelter, meeting new people could make her nervous. Thanks to professional training and patient guidance, she has made remarkable progress and continues to build confidence. Her adoption will include continued support from her trainer, including private training sessions to help her new family continue her progress and successfully navigate introductions to new people. We are looking for a family willing to continue the work that has helped Cinnamon come so far.

Cinnamon would do best in a lower-foot-traffic home with children age 12 or older. She is an absolute sweetheart once she knows and trusts you, and she has so much love to give her people.

She’s also wonderfully easy to care for. Cinnamon does great with handling and grooming, tolerates baths, cooperates for nail trims, and is generally a pleasure in day-to-day life.

Cinnamon is the kind of dog who wants to be your loyal sidekick through all of life’s adventures—and your professional couch cuddler afterward. She has worked hard to become the confident, well-trained girl she is today, and we can’t wait to find the family who will continue helping her shine.

🌧️ On a rainy day like today, we can’t help but think about the dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes.

And today, we’re thinking about Tristan. 💔

This 65.8-pound, 4-year-old goofy boy has been waiting for someone to look at him and say, “You’re the one. Come home.”

Tristan is the kind of dog who would love nothing more than to spend a rainy afternoon curled up beside his person, soaking up some snuggles, followed by a nice walk when the clouds finally break.

He’s house-trained, knows his basic commands, is eager to please, treat motivated, affectionate, people-friendly and dog-friendly with slow introductions. He has a wonderfully goofy personality and a low-to-medium energy level, so one or two walks a day and some quality couch time are right up his alley.

He does best in a quieter suburban setting.
Cats are probably not his thing because his curiosity gets the better of him, and children can meet him to see if they’re a match.

But really, Tristan doesn't need to be perfect.

He just needs someone willing to see the sweet, loving, silly boy underneath all those big feelings and give him the time and patience to become the best version of himself.

So while the rain falls today, Tristan waits.

He waits for his person.
He waits for his couch.
He waits for his backyard.
He waits for someone to finally say, “You’re home now, buddy.” ❤️
