Congratulations to our CEO & Owner, Nichole Baccala Ward, who was just named a 2026 Influential Marylander by The Daily Record!
This year marks 20 years of the Influential Marylanders program, honoring leaders whose vision and service have shaped Maryland's business, civic, and nonprofit communities.
We're proud to call her our leader, and even prouder to see her recognized for the impact she's made across Baltimore and beyond.
Well done, Nichole! Congrats to all of this year’s honorees: https://thedailyrecord.com/2026/07/24/the-daily-record-announces-the-20th-anniversary-winners-of-influential-marylanders/
Can empathy really move the needle on a stigmatized health issue? For the Obesity Association, a new division of the American Diabetes Association, it did.
TBC’s CEO & Owner wrote about our campaign, “The First Judgment,” for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), sharing how we paired emotional storytelling with performance marketing to drive 300K+ site visits and 30K+ high-intent actions in just three months.

Baltimore’s creative community showed up at Camden Yards, and it was a night to remember.
TBCers Julia, Devin, Marco, and Meghan joined Visit Baltimore’s Summer Creative Mixer for a night of connection and cheering on the O’s, complete with a pregame tour, club level seats, and the coveted Tupac bobblehead.
Big thanks to Visit Baltimore for bringing together the agency folks, artists, makers, and creative minds who help make this city so special. We’re always proud to be part of Baltimore’s creative scene.
Why did we walk? To support the fight to end diabetes.
TBC proudly stepped up and stepped out alongside our partner, the American Diabetes Association, for this year’s Step Out Walk in Baltimore.
With more than 155 million Americans living with diabetes or prediabetes, the need for awareness, support, and action has never been greater. We’re honored to stand with the ADA and our community in the work toward a cure.

TBCers Matt and Lauren spent last week at the Meta Health Forward: Winning Wellness forum in NYC, talking all things healthcare, content, and consumer engagement.
The big takeaway? Healthcare marketing has to do more than show up when someone needs care. It has to connect across the full health and wellness journey in ways that feel personal, trusted, and measurable.
A few insights we’re bringing back for our clients:
✔️ Creative fatigue is real, so fresh, vertical-first assets matter
✔️ Better first-party data leads to smarter automation and stronger lead quality
✔️ Creative, media, and measurement need to work together from the start
One favorite line from the event: “The algorithm picks the placement. Creative decides if it wins.”
That one’s sticking with us.
Yesterday, the Hippodrome Foundation, Inc. - HFI welcomed more than 200 Baltimore City and County students, educators, and community leaders for “Standing on Her Shoulders: The Power of Women—Past, Present, and Future.”
As part of an education initiative tied to the Tony Award®-winning musical SUFFS, the event explored the legacy of the women’s suffrage movement and the continued importance of civic engagement today.
Baltimore students took the stage to share original speeches about what they believe is worth fighting for, sparking meaningful conversation with leaders in government, business, and the arts.
We’re proud to support the Hippodrome Foundation’s work using theater as a tool for learning: helping young people find their voices, engage in their communities, and shape what comes next.
Thank you to the panelists, partners, educators, and especially the students who made the day so impactful. 💛
