MicroCineFest is a Baltimore-based organization that has set up film/video screenings and festivals.
After 5 years of underground film screenings at The Mansion Theater (a now-defunct microcinema in the Waverly neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland), the time was right to launch an underground film festival. This has to be the most amazing response to a Kickstarter campaign ever. MCF alum don hertzfeldt reached his goal in the first 30 minutes, and then FAR surpassed it within hours... by over $130,000! And still going. There's another 29 days to pledge. We can't wait to watch Don's new BluRay.
