This VR experience tells the story about the global state of peace. It is the first-ever immersive experience based on an official report from the United Nations Secretary-General to the General Assembly. It highlights the evolving nature of armed conflict and violence and sheds light on major trends related to global peace and security today, including rising inequality, militarization, the loss of biodiversity, and the impact of climate change. This innovative VR experience is launched on the occasion of the UN's 75th anniversary and the Nelson Mandela Decade of Peace.

THESE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS
“These Sleepless Nights” lets viewers explore a 4-part mini-documentary with Magic Leap AR headsets by walking around a large cube. Each sides of the cubes helps them unlock part of the story, shining a light on the plight of people who have gone through the process of an eviction.
After Venice, The Next Amendment is looking to bring “These Sleepless Nights” to other cities, including San Francisco, Washington D.C., and possibly Milwaukee. In public spaces, the installation will offer viewers the ability to access the documentary via an iOS app.
