🙌🏿 Today we honor the human strength and supernatural conviction and talent of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As a of the willing, we are here for what he described as three dimensions of a complete life —length, breadth and height.

In his teaching he defined the dimensions as follows:

✨Length-Inward concern for your own welfare. It’s your goals and ambition.

✨Breath-Outward concern for others.

✨Height-The upward reach for God.

In a speech in April 1967, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, gave a speech on these dimensions to amplify the value of loving yourself as the first expression of the dimensions of life. This required love for the , and the community as more complete work.

Today, in his honor we encourage deep as a for the culture and as essential to the generational of community.

Discover what you are called to do. And do it.✨

We take care. Because we aren’t waiting for it to be offered up transactionally.

We make care because our creation stories require us to replicate our breathe, and our love as a part of our work.

Care is the labor of generations.

Join us in taking stock and taking rest.

Check out our website for details on how to get involved. 🧘🏿‍♀️

🧘🏿‍♀️Make Joy + Take Rest. Yes even with all that is going on and going off.

Our life long work is to fight the bad and increase the good. That means we must make the daily commitment to action beyond words, and today’s words and deeds are rest, and care.

Fight the power by staying clear on what it takes, every day.

Trying to figure out how to help folks facing dire, flood, freezing temps and scarcity?

Try showing up for folks in ways that read as help, hope and care as the compounding crises rise. Here are a some humble offerings from our community.

☕️Tomorrows prophecy is today’s inkling, intuition and instinct.

Fossil fueled fire, flood, freezing and famine is all happening. It all needs you to rest and repair, as you are able, so that your responses are what you intend with impact that matters.

Go with your gut feeling about the boundaries you need to do work the world needs. 👋🏿

☕️Quiet as it’s kept isn’t caused by labor.

It is caused by unceasing labor in a context without care or community.

As you set your intentions, and align your vision for 2025 show up for the return to labor with your people, practice and tools.

We are resonating with you in and 🧘🏿

🗞️ In state news we all can use:

NYC Governor Hochul enacted a law on December 6, 2024 that will allow anyone — not only first responders — to file for workers’ compensation because of a “mental injury” caused by “extraordinary work-related stress.”

This is what systems change looks like for burnout and mental health futures.
