This , let’s focus on the common ground we share: we all want to keep kids safe. In partnership with Ad Council, we are also supporting its Gun Violence Awareness Month campaign. Starting a collaborative conversation, rooted in that shared goal, is the first step in addressing this crisis and its impact on youth.

Today is National Making Life Beautiful Day, a reminder that beauty is often found in the kindness we show, the support we offer, and the hope we help create for others.
At Center for Hope, we see every day how small acts of compassion can make a lasting difference. Whether it's supporting a survivor, mentoring a young person, helping a family navigate a difficult time, or simply listening without judgment, these moments help make life a little more beautiful.
Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to brighten someone else's day. A kind word, a helping hand, or a gesture of support can have a greater impact than you may realize.
Together, we can build stronger, safer, and more hopeful communities.

Baltimore is making history.
For the first time in more than 50 years, our city recorded fewer than 10 homicides in a single month.
These numbers represent something far greater than statistics. They represent lives saved, families kept whole, and communities strengthened.
At Center for Hope, we are proud to be part of the collective effort helping make this progress possible. Every day, our Safe Streets teams, hospital-based violence intervention specialists, PAAVE staff, therapists, advocates, and community partners work to prevent violence, support healing, and create opportunities for change.
We have seen the impact firsthand. In May, Sinai Hospital recorded only five gunshot wound admissions.
While there is still work to do, Baltimore's progress reminds us that violence prevention works and that communities can heal when we invest in people.
Thank you to everyone helping create a safer and more hopeful future for Baltimore.
