Some updates:

Firstly, lead-times are now 4-6 weeks. If I already have your replica then it should stay relatively unchanged on the original timeframe. I’ve tried my best to keep the lead-time down however due to current workload, it’s just not possible. I’m not willing to risk QC just to get something done a week early.

Secondly, I am implementing visible changes to my tamper detection methods. This is mainly for warranty purposes but also for reselling purposes. There have been multiple occurrences of a gearbox being tampered with before it being resold using my name as the builder. These changes are to ensure that if you are being sold a “Wendigo Custom” you can be sure that it’s in the original configuration. This change has started as of last week so any build or repair since then will have these. I keep a database of every number and what build that number is attached to so if you have any questions, I can answer them for you.

Thirdly, I am making changes to the repair process. I’ll have more information on these changes next week.

Lastly, I’ll have more information on my new gearboxes once I secure a more reliable source of parts.

After two years of rigorous testing, Wendigo Customs is excited to introduce the EPM Spring Savers. EPM magazines are plagued by a "dead zone" in their spring, which wastes energy and negatively impacts performance, especially when feeding heavier BBs like .32s. This issue arises from a combination of an inefficient spring design and steel that fatigues too quickly under regular use.

Interestingly, we’ve observed that worn-out EPM springs often show improved performance, which further highlights the need for this upgrade. The EPM Spring Savers address this flaw, optimizing the spring’s efficiency and ensuring more consistent feeding and overall reliability.

Crafted from a high-quality filament, our spacers are built to withstand summer temperatures without deforming and can endure the constant pressure of a fully loaded EPM. Additionally, the design maintains visibility of the magazine’s full indicator, so you can always keep track of your remaining BBs.

**Please note:** This upgrade is designed for EPM magazines, not the EPM1. The 2023 and later EPM models will experience the most significant performance gains with the EPM Spring Savers.

This build was a bit of a fun one.

VFC 416 with a Airsoft Artisan DD rail. The issue with the DD rail is the barrel nut fitment to the VFC upper is….questionable…to say the least. We made a printed adapter that would be a press-fit to the rail so we could still use the stock VFC barrel nut and still be able to properly thread on the bolt. Ended up buying a new printer and filament types to make the dimensions as accurate as possible 😂.
