That’s a wrap! Congratulations to the BSO Academy Class of 2024! It was so wonderful to have you with us and we are so excited to see you next year!

Some rehearsal scenes from the last few days! We are so fortunate to have vocal soloists Symone Harcum and Patrick O’Farrell with us for our Mahler selections. We capped off our last two evenings with the ensemble workshops and chamber orchestra concerts! We hope you will join us tonight at 7 PM for our final concert at the Meyerhoff - see you soon!

Our first full orchestra rehearsals are in the books! We started the day with full orchestra and ended with chamber orchestra. Come on out to our large ensembles concert tomorrow at 7:30 PM at the Meyerhoff!

We’re officially at the halfway point! Tomorrow we start side-by-side rehearsals with the Baltimore Symphony, and the excitement is palpable! In the last couple days, Academy participants enjoyed seminars and workshops taught by our very own BSO members, lectures in health & wellness and musical insights by guest lecturers Serap Gray and Caitlin Brown, the chamber music concert, and much more. We are so excited for what the rest of the week has in store!

And we’re off! Our three amazing interns were on deck to assist with check-in this afternoon before a lively evening of chamber music. The 2024 BSO Academy is officially underway!
