Community Impact I TCP Youth Empowerment’s “The Complete Player” Program

We turned estimating into a hands-on experience for students from TCP Youth Empowerment’s “The Complete Player” program.

Our team walked them through how we review drawings, gather pricing, and build a project budget. After a pizza lunch in the office, we loaded up and headed to Anthem House to see it all come to life, where we are transforming former office space into five new penthouse apartments with incredible city views.

Huge thank you to Andy Schindling, CEO of TCP Youth Empowerment, for trusting us with his students and allowing us to host them for the day—this is definitely something we want to continue. Supporting programs like TCP is one way we invest in the next generation of builders and leaders in Baltimore.

Spring brings a sense of renewal that we can all appreciate. It’s a chance to reset, refocus, and move forward with purpose.

Continuing our Core Value Awards from our Annual Company Meeting, today we are recognizing our Honesty Award.

This award is given to someone who stands up for what they believe in, leads with integrity, and is consistently trustworthy, fair, and sincere.

Congratulations to Susanna, our HR Manager, for earning this recognition. The way she shows up for our team and leads with honesty does not go unnoticed.

Every year at UrbanBuilt we gather as a team for our Annual Company Meeting. It is a time for us to reflect on the past year, celebrate our people, and recognize the values that guide how we work together every day.

One of the highlights of the meeting is presenting our Core Value Awards, which are especially meaningful because the winners are chosen 100 percent by our employees.

Today I am excited to highlight Lori, the recipient of our Reliability Award.

This award recognizes someone who keeps their word, pushes through difficult moments, communicates clearly, and shows up when it matters most. It is someone you can count on to face challenges head on and help the team work through them instead of avoiding them.

Lori truly represents what reliability looks like at UrbanBuilt and we are grateful to have her on our team.
