We love the decadent tablescapes that so many weddings inspire, but when we saw this minimalist setting at a recent wedding, “less is more” came to mind. With a great outdoor backdrop, you can definitely scale back and still create a romantic, elegant mood.

One of our favorite recent trends is the late-night wedding reception snack. check out the sign we designed for one recent wedding! Any food you love could technically be a late-night snacks at a wedding reception, but we believe some guidelines are helpful.

1. Must be delicious
2. Hand-held (and one-hand) options are easiest. This is nice especially if the reception is a more formal event, adding casual charm
3. If there’s some personal connection to the bride and groom, all the better — a favorite snack of yours, something that represents a milestone moment in the relationship, or even foods that are special to your hometowns or the destination of your wedding
