Last year I was a finalist for the Baltimore Screenwriters Awards SNF Parkway Theatre / Maryland Film Fest and this year I’ll be returning to the theater as an Artist in Residence!
Let’s explore Black history on the rails together! On February 21 from 11 AM-3 PM, we will have our public unveiling celebration for the B&O No. 3316 “Washington” Observation Tavern Car. This unveiling honors the life and legacy of the African American railroad workers who served on the No. 3316 before its retirement.
Guests will hear from our Chief Curator Jon Goldman and our B&O Restoration Expert Jamie Partridge, who will talk about both the historical significance of the No. 3316 and details about the restoration process. The day will conclude with a live Jazz Trio curated by B&O board member, Wordsmith. We hope you will join us for this very special unveiling this Black History Month. Tomorrow night at 8pm we open A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe. I’m honored to bring the character Fortune to life on stage. Hope to see you there for an unforgettable performance. 🎭✨

Rise With a Purpose, Inc. returns on November 26th at 12PM for a Thanksgiving edition of our Community Lunch Line — Penn Ave side of the Enoch Pratt Library (Penn North location).

Today, I celebrate the life of my son, Ezequiel. This is the first Birthday without him. He would have been 22 years old. ❤️
There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss him, but I’m incredibly grateful for the time, memories, laughter, and love we shared. I will honor him every single year I have left on this earth.
Zeke poured so much light into the world—into our family, into his friends, and into the work we started together in West Baltimore through Rise With a Purpose, Inc. Thank you for choosing me as your father, son. Your spirit lives on in everything I do.
I love you forever. 🙏🏾❤️
